Dustless Re-Coat System
The Bona Recoat System is the first and only guaranteed recoat system in the industry. This process safely removes all contaminants from the floor preparing it for optimal adhesion of a new coat of Bona Traffic Commercial Grade Water Based Finish. This system is perfect for floors that are in good shape, but could benefit from a deep clean, or to rejuvenate and extend the life of hardwood floors that cannot be sanded and refinished while remaining more budget friendly than a full floor replacement. This process is Greenguard Certified.
Dustless Re Coat Process
First, we do a light abrading with the Bona Remover, a pumice like solution specifically made for this cleaning process. This process is completely dustless, abrading the floor just enough to take off any contaminants so the new coat of finish will adhere properly.
Next, the Bona Remover solution is cleaned off using the Bona Power Scrubbing Machine.
After the floor has been thoroughly cleaned, we apply a new coat of finish to bring your floors back to life. We recommend using Bona Traffic Water Base Finish on most floors, however we offer a variety of finishes to meet your needs and preferences.
